Willie Harcourt-Cooze is a British-based chocolate maker and entrepreneur. His aim is to introduce everyone to artisan chocolate with pure, beautiful flavors.

15 years ago, Willie left his cocoa farm in Venezuela to set up Britain’s first bean to bar chocolate factory. He uses only the world’s great single estate cacaos, which like fine wines all have highly individual flavors. Having been a cocoa farmer himself, Willie buys all his beans Direct Trade, paying a higher price premium than Fair Trade.

To preserve these flavors, Willie makes his chocolate with 100% natural ingredients. This takes up to 3 weeks compared to industrial chocolate that is made in a few hours. Great things are worth waiting for. Willie Harcourt-Cooze is the UK's pioneer of "bean to bar" and has introduced millions of people to the taste of real chocolate. He imports the cacao beans directly from the farmers to his factory in Devon and makes it all in small batches, taking up to 100 times longer than industrial chocolate.

Willie is the only small cacao grower and producer in the UK. Using 100-year-old machinery, Willie produces from bean to bar, authentic pure cacao and chocolate from the finest beans from around the world. The bars are all single bean or single estate origin of exceptional quality, representing the natural flavor of the region.
